We are all about connecting with children and ensuring that they leave us with a strong sense of curiosity about the world around them. 
We believe that progress in any of the subjects but especially in Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics subjects starts with an enquiring, curious mind.

Paul McMahon is a career educator with over 20 years of experience of teaching. He has a degree in Applied Physics and a Masters degree in Science and Mathematics Education as well as many qualifications in computing and supporting teachers with Digtial Learning.
Paul believes that the best way to have students advance successfully in their learning is when they have their curiosity activated.

Why Curiosity Enhances Learning: A neurological study has shown that curiosity makes our brains more receptive for learning, and that as we learn, we enjoy the sensation of learning.

The authors of a 2011 study published in Perspectives in Psychological Science found that curiosity is a big part of academic performance. According to the study, personality traits such as curiosity seem to be as important as intelligence in determining how well students do in school.
